Job Description
Our gymnastics facility is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Preschool Director to oversee our preschool program and Mommy and Me classes. The ideal candidate will have a passion for gymnastics and working with young children, as well as experience in managing and coordinating preschool programs.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive preschool program that is age-appropriate and aligns with the goals and objectives of the facility.
- Plan and organize daily activities, schedules, and lesson plans for the preschool program and Mommy and Me classes.
- Train, manage, and supervise other instructors and staff to ensure the safety and well-being of all participants.
- Monitor and assess student progress, provide feedback and support, and communicate with parents/guardians regarding their child’s development and performance.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, medical information, and incident reports.
- Manage and order necessary equipment and supplies for the preschool program and Mommy and Me classes.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols to ensure the safety of all participants and staff.
- Attend meetings and participate in training sessions as required.
- Counsel and mentor students, creating a positive and supportive environment for all participants.
- Manage enrollment and registration for the preschool program and Mommy and Me classes.
Requirements
- Experience in gymnastics coaching or instruction.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Ability to pass a background check and adhere to the facility’s code of conduct.
- First Aid and CPR certification preferred.
